VMware by Broadcom Cloud Foundation Deployment Specialist 2024, 5V0-31.23

Published by Jimmy Mankowitz on

I today passed the certification for VMware by Broadcom Certified Specialist – VMware Cloud Foundation Deployment 2024.

The VMware Certified Specialist – VMware Cloud Foundation Deployment 2024 specialist certification validates a candidate’s understanding of the capabilities of VMware Cloud Foundation and how to successfully plan, deploy, manage, and operate a VMware Cloud Foundation deployment. This certification also validates a candidate’s knowledge of the architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation, storage and network management, workload domains, and workload and lifecycle management.

I just wanted to highlight for anyone else in the community that wish to pass this exam on what to focus on and what to study.

Go through each of the different sections in the VMware documentation:

 Planning and Preparation Workbook

Getting Started with VMware Cloud Foundation

VMware Cloud Foundation Cloud Gateway Administration

 VMware Cloud Foundation Deployment Guide

 VMware Cloud Foundation Administration Guide

 VMware Cloud Foundation Operations Guide

 VMware Cloud Foundation Lifecycle Management

 Async Patch Tool

Developer Ready Infrastructure for VMware Cloud Foundation

I also found the modules for the official course for VCF and went through each row and studied the Pre-requirements and features for that section.
